  18. Let's not get into x86 vs. 680x0 wars again.  The x86 has finally won 
  19. out, through brute force.  If they were making 68060s at 100mhz or more 
  20. then it would be a different story, but the buck stops with the 060/50 
  21. and that is far slower than the fastest available Pentiums.

  23. The 68K line will always be remembered as more efficient than the x86 line
  24. at a given clock speed, especially when you consider the OS most people
  25. run on x86 machines, but ultimately they lost the clock speed race.

  27. You can hook your hopes on the PPC to kill the x86 line now.
